How many emails are included in my plan±?
The number of emails you can send and receive will be determined by their size. An email with 20 lines of text and no attachments is approximately 2Kb. So, 500 emails will use approximately 1MB of data.

and Business Complete Max. 3. Unlimited Facebook®, Twitter, LinkedIn,
MySpace, eBay, Foursquare: unlimited use of these services within Australia
only. Use of these services is separate and does not count towards your
included Mobile Internet Data Value. These features are only available with

Access Resale customers. 7. Unlimited Value: excludes some call and
message types including VoiceMail deposits and retrievals
(except for the $99/$129 Timeless Extreme Plans and all Business Plans), calls

Business Timeless Advantage Plans), calls to satellite phones, international,

VoiceMail: Applies to Voicemail deposits and retrievals, diversion charges may

International Voice Calls, SMS, and MMS. The International Value excludes all

Any unused portion of the International Value expires at the

The ‘Minimum Total Cost' is set out in the table below plus the cost of your Handset, if any. If you choose a 24 Month Plan, and your service is disconnected for any reason or you switch carriers within this payment period, you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your handset, if any, plus the applicable ‘Termination Fee'.

Text Messages (SMS): 1. Charged at 25c per message sent of up to 160 characters, per recipient. 2. International SMS charged at 35c per message sent of up to 160 characters, per recipient. 3. Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not. 4. SMS cannot be sent to MobileSat customers. Photo Message (MMS): 1 . National MMS is charged at 50c per message sent, per recipient. 2. International MMS charged at 75c per message sent, per recipient. 3. Optus Email MMS is charged at 50c per message sent (one message can be sent to multiple recipients). 4. Charges apply regardless of successful delivery or not. 5. If an MMS message is sent to a handset or network that is not Optus MMS enabled or compatible, the message recipient will be sent an SMS directing the customer to go to www.optus.com.au/zoo to view their message. You will still be charged for sending an MMS.
Optus Push to Talk (PTT): 1. To use PTT you must have an Optus compatible handset with the PTT service. 2. The PTT service in only available for use between customers on the Optus GSM network. 3. Message delivery success, message delivery time and call initiation time may be variable. 4. You will incur the daily fee in any 24 hour period, from 3am Sydney EST, that you initiate a PTT call on the service. You will be charged $0.95c per day. Optus Fair Go TM Policy applies up to 150 minutes per month. Optus 3G or 3G/HSDPA Service: Use of Optus 3G or 3G/HSDPA Service, including Video Calling are only available with compatible handsets and Optus 3Gor HSDPA SIM card within 3G or 3G/HSDPA Coverage area. If you or the other person on the video call moves out of the 3G or 3G/HSDPA coverage area, your video call will drop out and you will only have the option to call the person back with a voice call. 2. Optus' 3G network coverage is available in selected areas of Sydney, Melbourne , Geelong , Canberra , Brisbane and Gold Coast, central Adelaide and central Perth. For coverage details, including HSDPA coverage see www.optus.com.au/coverage. 3. Actual network speeds both upload and download may vary dependent on the type of device in use, location and the number of users accessing the network at any given time. Speeds refer to maximum download speeds. Upload speeds will be lower than download speeds. Diversions: charged at 5.5¢ per 30 seconds within Australia plus international call rates for overseas. Directory Assistance/1223: charged at 50¢ per call 124YES: charged at $1.10 per call plus the standard local call rates. Operator Assistance: charged public network rates plus an airtime surcharge of 11¢ per 30 seconds ( 7am-8pm , Mon-Sat) and 5.5¢ per 30 seconds other times. AutoRoam™: available to Optus Mobile Digital services. Must be arranged before going overseas and activation is subject to acceptance by Optus. Optus makes no warranty regarding the quality and availability of coverage or any services. It may take several months for roaming charges to appear on your mobile tax invoice.
