A corporate Windows Mobile solution is designed to suit medium sized business that are running their own email server (Microsoft Exchange 2003 or 2007). Using the Windows Mobile Corporate solution, emails are “pushed” directly to your Windows Mobile device, enabling you to receive your email in real time. Windows mobile email solution offers additionally features such as

  • Access to your Corporate Directory.

How to get Corporate Windows Mobile email access

Corporate Windows Mobile comprises three key components:


1.  A Windows® Mobile 5.0 ,6.0 or6.1 handset.

    - On your device, go to Start > Internet Explorer
  • Use your device as a modem for a laptop
    - Connect your device to your Windows PC via USB, then go to Start > Programs > Internet Sharing > Connect
  • Check multiple email accounts:
    - On your device, go to Start > Inbox to set up new accounts
  • Read, create and edit Microsoft® Office Word, Excel® files and view PowerPoint® presentations*
    - Go to Start > Programs > Office Mobile
  • Reply to and update appointments via Microsoft® Outlook.
    - Highlight the appointment in your calendar, then go Menu > Edit

Mobile Modem : ‘Yes’ Business Data Bolt on: Available to Small and Medium Business customers who connected to an Optus Mobile Plan. ‘Yes’ Business Data 200MB includes 200MB of data, excess usage will be charged at an additional 15c per MB or part there of. ‘Yes’ Business Data 1GB includes 1GB of data (1GB = 1024 MB) excess usage will be charged at an additional 15c per MB or part there of. ‘Yes’ Business Data 2GB includes 2GB of data (2GB = 2048 MB) excess usage will be charged at an additional 15c per MB or part there of. ‘Yes’ Business Data 6GB includes 6GB of data (6GB = 6144 MB) excess usage will be charged at an additional 15c per MB or part there of. Usage of other services will be charged at your agreed rates. International data roaming usage is specifically excluded from the usage allowance of the Smart Data Bolt on plans. If you select a ‘Yes’ Business Data bolt on, you will not able to view your monthly usage prior to receiving your bill. Software Requirements: You must meet the minimum system requirements as per the mobile manufactures packaging to connect to the service Subject to your rights under the Trade Practices Act. Optus does not make any warranty regarding the software of data provided to you as it operates on your computer and interacts with your other applications. Any software bundled with the mobile device shows approximate usage only. We are not responsible for any Internet content that may be obtained via the service. We reserve the right to delete any username that we consider offensive, defamatory, illegal or otherwise inappropriate. You must ensure that the software you use with the service is properly licensed. Subject to the agreement, you must not resell, share or otherwise distribute the service to a third party. We may monitor your account to ensure you are complying with the agreement. We will investigate misuse of the service. If we find that you have misused the service we may recover from you any costs of investigating the misuse and any compensation we are required to pay to another user as a result of your misuse. The minium total cost for the SmartData Bolt On 1GB 12 months is $239.88, SmartData Bolt On 2GB 12months is $419.88 and for the SmartData Bolt On 6GB 12 months is $599.88. The minium total cost for the SmartData Bolt On 1GB 24 months is $479.76, SmartData Bolt On 2GB 24 months is $839.76 and for the SmartData Bolt On 6GB 24 months is $1199.76. Cancellation Fees: If you choose a 12 Month Plan, and your service is disconnected for any reason or you switch carriers within 12 months, you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your handset, if any, plus the following ‘Termination Fee’: for termination between Months 1-6 is $75 for the SmartData Bolt On 1GB, $135 for the SmartData Bolt On 2GB and $195 for the SmartData Bolt On 6GB Plans. And for terminations between months 7-12 an amount in accordance with the following calculations: for Months 7-9 is 70% of the Termination fee, months 10 -12 is 40% of the Termination fee. If you choose a 24 Month Plan, and your service is disconnected for any reason or you switch carriers within the 24 months, you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your handset, if any, plus the following ‘Termination Fee’: for termination between months 1-12 $75 for the SmartData Bolt On 1GB, $135 for the SmartData Bolt On 2GB and $195 for the SmartData Bolt On 6GB Plans. And for terminations between months 13-24 an amount in accordance with the following calculations: for months 13-15, 80% of the Initial Termination Fee; for months 16-18, 60% of the Initial Termination Fee; for months 19-21, 40% of the Initial Termination Fee; for months 22-24, 20% of the Initial Termination Fee.
