Step 1 – Choose a PDA or BlackBerry®
Currently approved are those PDA's running PPC 2003,
Windows 5, Windows 6, and BlackBerry® 8100, 8300, 8800.

Step 2 – Connect to ‘yes’ Business Smart or Business Smart Cap or BlackBerry® 24 month plan
Choose a voice plan for your PDA or choose a BlackBerry® plan.
Step 3 – Choose a Data Plan
Mobile Data plans start from $5 per month for a 5MB service
If you have chosen a Windows PDA Mobile, connect to a Mobile Data plan -
starting from $5 per month for 5MB5 .
If you have chosen a BlackBerry®, choose to connect to the BlackBerry®
$79 Cap or a BlackBerry® Data Bolt Onˆ starting from $25.95 per month for
1MB BlackBerry® Email & Internet.
Depending on the mobile phone and rate plan you choose, there may be monthly handset repayments. Refer to the relevant rate plan brochure for details.

Optus GSM or 3G-HSDPA coverage area and is subject to network availability.

3. Actual network speeds both upload and download may vary dependent on the
type of device in use, location and the number of users accessing the network
at any given time. Speeds refer to maximum download speeds. Upload speeds will
be lower than download speeds.
4. When you process a transaction using your Mint Portable Payment Solution
from Optus you will incur a transaction fee, which is charged and billed by
Mint under the terms of Mint’s agreement with you.
5. Default charges of 1.5c/kb apply, capped at $5, for customers who have a
Windows Mobile PDA. Customers who select a BlackBerry® device must take a
BlackBerry® plan (either a Bolt On or a capped plan) and will be charged for
data use in accordance with that plan.
6. If you elect to purchase your Mint Pack with monthly repayments over 24
months, you will also need to select a voice and data plan from Optus on a 24
month contract. If you select to purchase the Mint Pack upfront you will need
to select a voice and data plan from Optus on a month to month contract.

1. Your application is subject to an Optus credit assessment, and acceptance. Only available to eligible small and medium business customers as defined by Optus connecting to the Optus Digital Mobile service. Optus Pre-paid, Optus CDMA, MobileSat, service provider customers, or Corporate customer are not eligible. Not available in conjunction with single-bill or e-bill products.
2. Optus GSM or 3G/HSDPA Service: Use of Optus GSM or 3G/HSDPA Service, including Video Calling are only available with compatible handsets within GSM or 3G/HSDPA Coverage area. If you or the other person on the video call moves out of the GSM or 3G/HSDPA coverage area, your video call will drop out and you will only have the option to call the person back with a voice call.
3. Optus’ 3G network coverage is available in selected areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, Canberra, Brisbane and Gold Coast, central Adelaide and central Perth. For coverage details, including HSDPA coverage, see www.optus.com.au/coverage

5. An account with Mint is required to access the Mint transaction management system. This is provided to you under a separate agreement between you and Mint, facilitated by Optus. 6. When you process a transaction using your Mint Portable Payment Solution from Optus you will incur a transaction fee, which is charged and billed by Mint under the terms of Mint’s agreement with you.
7. If you cancel your account with Mint you do not have to cancel your voice or data service with Optus. If you do so you will end your ability to access the Mint Portable Payment Solution from Optus. If you do so before the end of your contract term you may be required to pay a cancellation fee and any outstanding hardware charges including charges relating to the Mint hardware.
8. If you decide to cancel your mobile data service with Optus but wish to keep your account with Mint you can do so subject to the terms of your agreement with Mint. You may be required to pay Optus a cancellation fee.
9. Currently approved compatible handsets are those running Windows Mobile 5 or 6, or the current range of BlackBerry® eg. BlackBerry® 8100 Pearl or 8300 Curve.
